Amerikanske General Motors (GM) have just announced that the deal with Koenigsegg Group is one step closer to be completed. All there is missing now, is a set of government guarantees, and the deal will be closed. This means that Koenigsegg Group will own 100% of the stocks in Saab Automobile, and all the patents developed by Saab. The deal is set to be completed in the next following months.

Top Gear had a great angel on the “save the world” fools that think you can stop gobal warming, because you drive a Toyota Prius. First of all, Global warming have yet to be linked to co2. Second – but more important – people forget that building a car aint co2 neutral. So with that in mind, take a look at this very good Top Gear video, and make up your own mind.

Some of the laptime in this list is with rolling starts, so make sure you keep that in mind, when you start debating who is teh fastest around the Nürburgring Nordschleife. I used to race my bikes around the track, but when a few of the people I knew died racing that track around 2000-2001, I never returned to the track for the yearly race weekend. When the price start being meassured in human lives, that is where I draw the line. Racing should be fun, but racing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife became more “dangerous” then “fun”.

One of the hardest part about making this first post about the Maserati GranTurismo S, was finding the right image. Its not because its hard to find a good image of the Maserati GranTurismo S, its actually hard NOT to find a good image. So I ended up using the image Maserati have on their own website.
